Professor Kathleen Burk

Kathleen Burk is Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at University College London, columnist and radio panellist. She is the author of several distinguished scholarly books on the US and its interventions in the rest of the world, and a definitive biography of A J P Taylor. Kathleenís most recent book, a history of England and America from 1600 to the present, which covers political, social, and economic history, Old World, New World was published by Little Brown. Professor Burk's main interests lie in Anglo-American relations, something she focussed on during her time as Gresham Professor of Rhetoric.
